Dr Elinor SawyerClinical Oncologist
Following her clinical oncology training at the Middlesex Hospital, Royal Free Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’, Dr Elinor Sawyer joined Cancer Research UK to study the molecular biology of phyllodes tumours, earning a PhD. She was appointed as a consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ in 2005.
Elinor continued her research alongside her clinical work, with the help of a Department of Health Clinician Scientist Award. She continues to study phyllodes tumours as well as genetic predisposition to breast cancer.
