  • Biography

    After specialist oncology training at the Royal Marsden and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, Dr Lucy Brazil studied breast cancer genetics at Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Institute of Cancer Research, earning an MD.

    Dr Brazil’s clinical practice focuses on breast and brain cancers, especially glioblastoma multiforme, low grade glioma (including oligodendroglioma) and management of breast cancer which has metastasised to the brain. She uses a range of radiotherapy, including conformal and stereotactic techniques.

    Dr Brazil continues to be involved in research through the EORTC cancer brain tumour group and the National Cancer Institute’s brain tumour clinical studies group and brain tumour palliative care/ quality of life subgroup.
