    After graduating from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School with a first class honours BSc as well as his medical qualification, Dr Simon Hughes joined the Pan-Thames clinical oncology training rotation. He also gained a research fellowship, studying novel radiotherapy techniques for the treatment of lung cancer. Dr Hughes continues to research this field as well as others including tumour motion, radiotherapy dose escalation, the combination of novel agents with radiotherapy, and clinical trials.

    Dr Hughes is a clinical oncologist with a focus on urological and thoracic cancers and a member of the Royal Society of Medicine, active within the oncology section.
